Historie

Chieti je jedno z nejstarších měst v Itálii, je dokonce o 500 let starší, než Řím. Ve středověku se dostalo pod nadvládu Normanů. +more V roce 1860 se město připojilo k Italskému království.

Památky

Nejvýznamnější památkou Chieti je Cattedrale di San Giustino, jejíž stavba byla započata v 11. století.
