Klub byl založen v roce 1907 pod názvem Coburger FC, zanikl v roce 2012 kvůli dluhům ve výši 118 000 eur. Klubové barvy byly žlutá a černá.
Své domácí zápasy odehrával na stadionu Dr. Eugen Stocke Anlage s kapacitou 3 000 diváků.
