Johannes Ockeghem byl významný vlámský hudební skladatel a pěvec 15. století. Narodil se okolo roku 1410 a zemřel v roce 1497. Byl jedním z nejvýznamnějších autorů tzv. nizozemské hudební školy, která měla velký vliv na další vývoj evropské hudby. Ockeghem byl slavný svou polyfonní hudbou a inovativními harmonickými technikami. Jeho díla zahrnují moteta, chansony a mše, které patří k vrcholům renesanční hudby. Ockeghem také působil jako zpěvák na dvoře francouzských králů Karla VII. a Ludvíka XI. a byl uznávaným hudebním pedagogem. Jeho vliv na další generace skladatelů byl značný a jeho hudba se stala vzorem pro mnoho následujících umělců. Johannes Ockeghem je jedním z nejvýznamnějších hudebníků své doby a jeho dílo má trvalý vliv na evropskou hudbu až do současnosti.

Johannes Ockeghem (také Jean de; příjmení Okeghem, Ogkegum, Okchem, Hocquegam, Ockegham a další varianty) (asi 1410, Saint-Ghislain, dnešní Belgie - 6. února, 1497, Tours, Francie) byl nejslavnějším hudebním skladatelem franko-vlámské školy ve druhé polovině 15. století. Vedle skladatelských úspěchů byl rovněž ceněn jako zpěvák, sbormistr a učitel.
