Ornithocheiroidea

Ornithocheiroidea je velkou skupinou ptakoještěrů z podřádu pterodaktyloidů. Patří sem i tak populární rody, jako je například sám Ornithocheirus nebo Pteranodon.

Do této skupiny mohl patřit také český ptakoještěr druhu Cretornis hlavaci (patrně zástupce čeledi Nyctosauridae).
