Historie
Pořádali okázalé maškarní večírky, chodili na komplikované honby za poklady nočním Londýnem a někteří hodně pili nebo užívali drogy - to vše nadšeně komentovali novináři jako Charles Graves a Tom Driberg. Inspirovali řadu spisovatelů, včetně Nancy Mitford (Highland Fling), Anthony Powell (Tanec na hudbu času), Henry Green (Party Going) a básníka John Betjeman. +more Evelyn Waughův román Vile Bodies z roku 1930, upravený jako film Bright Young Things z roku 2003, je satirickým pohledem na tuto scénu.
